June 26 marks the anniversary of the end of one of the most important and legendary battles in Marine Corps history-The Battle of Bois de Belleau, or Belleau Wood. In the spirit of the value the Marine Corps places on its history, we wanted to give you, Marine families and supporters, an opportunity to embrace and learn about this part of Marine Corps legacy as well. ![]() Beginning in boot camp, every Marine is educated on the Corps' proud and storied past as they learn what it means to be part of such a prestigious organization. The sight of an Adeptus Astartes was one thing: taller and broader than a man could ever be, armoured like a demigod. He’d heard descriptions of it from regular Army officers too. Aximand had heard iterators talk of the condition. They have 4 days to kill him, if he still lives after 96 hours, they will evacuate the village and bombard the forest until all is destroyed. There are no vehicles because the forest is so dense.Įach US soldier carries a standard assault rifle, a pistol and a grenade. The soldiers are coming from all 4 directions, 25.000 on each side. The US army thinks they can't just destroy a village and first sends an army. There is a village with 500 people in the middle of the forest, this means the entire forest is surrounded by heavy artillery, tanks and other stuff that would kill the marine. The army sends in all the soldiers from the nearest 20 military bases, 100 000 soldiers. He is in the middle, but can move to any direction of the forest. After 3 days of slaughtering the army and also innocent people who were in his way, they surrounded him into a 5 x 5 miles area. Plot: After a Ultramarine got accidentally send back in time to todays New York City by Dark Age of Technology tech, he is attacked by the police and soon after by the US army. He wields a bolter, a powersword and has a big backpack with 1000 shots. The space marine is a Ultramarine and has 300 years of combat experience.
